Vintage GE Model H-639 Radio Record Player Working!

Description

Vintage GE Model H-639 Radio/Record Player that is in working condition.  Radio receives ststions quite readily with minimal background noise.  The phonograph feature does not work the platter does not spin.  The finish on the piece has simply been cleaned and polished with a professional wood wax.   The top appears to have its original shellac removed, but the appearance is good.  The power cord is in excellent condition and the plastic dial cover is also in great shape.  Grill cloth is frayed and pulled away from the grill.  Grill itself is in good condition, with no breaks. Only defect to the veneer is a split on the curve just below the grill, which does not detract from the overall appearance.  The metal bracket that holds up the cover when open is missing as well.  Attractive Art Deco piece that will be a fine addition  to your collection.  In order to ensure safe delivery, the radio will be double boxed.   Do not hesitate to make an offer, all will be considered.
