    Description

    This Vintage Detrola Model 146 Table Top Tube Radio with walnut cabinet  is 18½" wide, 8½" deep and 11½" high.   The radio receives AM, short wave and police bands.  The clear plastic dial cover and bezel are in good condition. The dials are original.  The speaker works well. There is no back cover plate.  Comes with a circuit diagram and tube layout sheet.  The serial number is 302746. The radio weighs 18 pounds.
    When tested, it powered up and after about 15 seconds of humming, plays the AM broadcast stations very well.  We don't have an antenna to test for the police or or shortwave reception.  See photographs for condition, the finish is in really nice condition with just a couple of small nicks and minor scratches.
