    Description

    Resistol Self - Conforming 5XXXXX Beaver Women's western hat..vintage from the 1950s era.  The name is "Buffalo", the color is a medium/dark brown. Marked size 7. The brim is 4" wide - the crown is approx. 4 1/2" tall. In the original box.  The Resistol 5X Beaver hat was as good as you could get then, with Stetson, etc.  It has been stored for a long time and is in excellent overall condition..it only shows a very little wear.  The felt is just slightly pressed (on the upper inside brim - negligeable) where it sat upside down in the box. There are no holes, no tears..very little wear showing, no moth damage. If freshened up, it  would look almost new. A hat of this quality today would be very expensive new. Listed by a friendly seller with many years a 100% feedback rating. NOTE: The hat will be mailed in a regular box (not the hat box). If you want the original hat box with the hat, please let me know before you pay and I will send a corrected invoice for the added postage. The US Postal charges extra for a large box which would be the hat box in another mailing box.
