VINTAGE 1946 RCA 61-6 Radiola AM/SW TUBE RADIO RESTORED

I'm offering this lovely
brown table size 1946 RCA Model 61-6 AM/SW RADIO
for sale.   This smaller bakelite plastic style radio sounds good and receives the entire AM band with the included loop/wire wire antenna. I also tested Shortwave with a longer wire attached antenna and it receives international shortwave stations. The brown bakelite plastic case is in very good condition with small marks and scratches but no cracks. Nice vintage working or display piece with lovely bakelite grain. Condition is Used.
Restored, aligned, capacitors replaced. Clean chassis. Tubes checked/replaced. 10" x 6.5" x 6"  The band switch is accessed via the original back panel. Good reception, good sound, great condition.  The original model label is missing from the bottom, but Radio museum documentation confirms this unit as the RADIOLA 61-6.
Old radios are sold as is without any guarantee, due to their age.  I test them thoroughly and check one last time before carefully packing.  They work as described when I ship.
