Vintage 1940s Antique Emerson AC/DC Tube Radio - Very NIce and Working

Description

This is a nice vintage 1940 Emerson AC/DC Tube Radio Model 9UW-363.  It has a 6-tube superhet chassis that can be powered by battery or AC.  The cabinet, dial and pointer, dial cover, knobs, and handle are all original to the set.  The canvas cover has a few small snags but is in very nice condition.  The rear swing part of the door cover has been reattached (they typically tear off).  The small leather snap latch is complete and can be repaired.  The spring supported carry handle is in excellent condition.  The power cord was replaced by a previous owner.  The electrolytic capacitors were replaced and the radio is playing with loud audio using AC power.  It is being sold AS IS and without warranty.  The approximate dimensions are 13" W X 10.5" H X 5" D.  Please view all the pictures, they are a part of my description.  I take care in packing my radios and they are insured when shipped.
