    Description

    Very pleased to offer a Striking Gold and Cobalt Tazza / Comport / Compote with Lovely River Scene.  The scene almost reminds me of a Loch somewhere with a little island castle with mountains in the background.  This is one of those pieces you don't want to cover up to put sweets on,  which might account for the fact it's in such good condition.  It has very minor cutlery use and the slightest of any other flaws; no crazing, no cracks, no hairlines, no chips.  It's taller than normal at 4.5" and is just over 9" across.  The killer for me are the acanthus leaves on the top of the base and the serious flutes on the bottom.  It is unmarked.  Just a lovely piece of "eye candy".  Thanks for taking a look !
