    Staffordshire Dark Blue and White Transfer Large Jug or Pitcher, "Water Girl", or "Rebecca at the Well", James and Ralph Clews, Staffordshire, England, c. 1820 - 1845. This beautiful jug is very attractive with a dark blue and white transfer in the "Water Girl" pattern. This pattern is very popular and is most often called Rebecca at the Well. This jug is unmarked but Clews is the only maker for the, "WATER GIRL" pattern. This is in good condition with some professional repairs done to the spout area. The restoration is excellent and the appearance is exceptional! I offer this Staffordshire "WATER GIRL" jug here with no reserve and a Buy It Now. DIMENSIONS: The Water Girl pattern jug is about 9 7/8" H. x 5 7/8" W. x 8 1/8" L.. CONDITION: The condition is good with some professional restoration to the end of the spout. The restoration can only be seen under a black light. This jug is a beautiful example of dark blue staffordshire and it will still display beautifully on your shelf.
