lovely Staffordshire, England ceramic cottage figure
this was used in the Victorian Era as a Pastille Burner
a pellet was placed in opening in back and lit. The scent removed odors in the house
now we have Air Wick !
white ground w/ bocage trim & applied flowers all across the front
measures about 4" by 2 1/2"" at the base, 3 1/2" wide  & about 5" high
