    This is a Shelley Fine Bone China Childs Plate, Tricycle + Fairies, MABEL LUCIE ATTWELL. This is a very cute bone china 7" child's plate. This is a 7"- diameter vintage child's plate based on the charming artwork of Mabel Lucie Attwell and produced in England of fine bone china by Shelley. The colorful design features a boy and girl on a tricycle chased by two fairies. The caption reads, "LOOK AT THE FAIRIES. HOW FAST THEY CAN FLY! BUT THEY CANNOT CATCH US AS WE FLASH BY." The base color of the plate is white with pink trim. This piece displays beautifully and is in excellent used condition, with no chips, nicks, cracks, or crazing.
