Set of 8 Wileman Flower Sprays Hand Colored Transferware 8 1/4 Inch Plates C. 1879
Rare set of 8 earthenware luncheon plates. Decorated in the Flower Sprays pattern with hand colored pink and blue flowers. Marked on the bottom with a British registry mark for 1879. Made by Foley Potters J. F. Wileman.
These have crazing typical of earthenware, and overall staining of the type that may soak out, and some having glaze flaking to the edge, but no chips or cracks.
Each plate measures approximately 8 1/4 inches wide.
These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not effect the display of the pieces.
