    This stunning set of three childs transferware plates was originally part of a complete miniature dinner service. The
    round dishes measure

    creamy soft paste with
    sepia brown
    motif of three distinct floral arrangements or baskets of flowers.

    dates to circa 1890, the height of the period when the German Wallerfangen factory of Villeroy Boch was in operation. The decorative and imaginative images reflect the VB roots in both France and Germany. The

    love of nature and the exotic with ornamentation added as art for art’s sake.
    Condition is great, with no chips repairs or cracks in the bowls. Stilt marks and fine allover glaze crazing and wear to the foot rim consistent with age.  We are happy to combine shipping of multiple purchases.
