Cauldon Pink Rose Floral Raised Gold Neoclassical Scrollwork 10 3/4 Inch Plate
Very nice bone china large dinner plate. Decorated with a border made up of hand painted pink roses, blue, red, purple, and yellow flowers in raised gold gilt and beaded urns with Neoclassical medallions and swags. The majority of the plate is white, but the border above the swags is ivory. Gold encrusted border. Marked on the reverse Cauldon England. This mark was used between 1890 and 1904. Also has a retailer's mark for Wright, Tyndale & Van Roden Philadelphia.
Has some usage wear consistent with age and some wear to the gilding, but otherwise good condition with no chips or cracks.
Measures approximately 10 3/4 inches wide.
