Description
Large Staffordshire Pearlware Teapot in the Strawberry Pattern with a zoomorphic handleMeasures about 8" tall and 8" across and it comes across as a fairly large teapot.
Guaranteed handpainted on my careful examination through a loupe and you won't be disappointed.
Unsigned and unmarked, but probably Benjamin Adams of Stoke-on-Trent and ca. about 1825.
Comes from a local Dallas estate.
Guaranteed antique Staffordshire and not any type of vintage or modern reproduction piece and check out the pics and my No Question Asked return policy below and know that you won't be disappointed.
There is a very professional repair to the handle with no overpainting on in-fill as shown in pics #4, #5, and #6. There is a small chip to the top rim as shown in pic #7. There is glaze crazing allover as can be seen in the pics. Otherwise no issues on my very critical examination in strong light. Spout in great shape and the paint is at least 98% intact overall with no detracting losses. Overall a handsome piece that still displays very attractively as shown and I've tried to take the condition issues into account very realistically in pricing this.
