    Description

    Superb 19thc Staffordshire tobacco jar of a pipe-smoking Toby figure.   Dating c.1870's.
    Excellent attention to detail with the sailor having little gilt coloured anchors on the lapels of his blue jacket and a knife tucked into his belt..  He has a pipe in one hand.  Lovely colouration and wonderful facial detail.  He has a pink ribbon around his hat/lid.
    Measures some 6.5" height.
    Condition is excellent and age commensurate.
