    Description

    This wonderful large 19” platter is by Henshall & Co with the title of Compton Verney.
    This piece is part of the British Views showing a lovely fruit & floral border. The bucolic view shows 2 hunters resting with their game dogs & birds.  The background features boaters on a pond. A grand manor house sits in the distance. The transfer is crisp with the platter being damaged - having been broken & reglued. An ideal piece for repairs or to display, as the scene is quite special.
