1940s SEARS SILVERTONE NO. 215 PORTABLE TUBE RADIO W/ BOOKLET,. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Here is a beautiful all original including original silver tone tubes, portable tube radio, a 1940s vintage plastic portable number 215 Sears silvertone radio, with original parts booklet. This beautiful all original unretouched even with the original cord, Sears silvertone model 215 radio has a hinge on the bottom, allowing the halves to swivel open and allow for a battery to be inseted. The battery box is clean, the cord reflects some age, but is still viable cord, and though the radio, maroon with two dials and coordinate great, is original down to the original flexible handle. I have turned on the radio and I can hear it buzz, but when I tune it I do not hear stations. I am not an expert in radios and I will not try to figure out why it does not get reception. Please review photos. The radio reflects some general agent where, but no brakes or cracks. It does reflect a few scuffs and Marks here and there, but it was clearly well taken care of and not abused.
